On Friday, 15th February 2019, around 15,000 British schoolkids went on strike in protest about the lack of action in regards to Climate Change and Global Warming. That has raised the question whether kids should be taking such action during schooltime, they should protest in their own time.
I found this to be a very patronising view, especially as these kids are part of the Youth Strike 4 Climate movement, which is global and which was inspired by the Swedish schoolgirl, Greta Thunberg, who started a solitary protest outside the Swedish parliament, taking every Friday off school since September 2018 to do so.
The action of these wonderful kids inspired me to make this video.
